July 4th is a day to celebrate our independence, our freedom as a country. July 4th marks the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776. It is the day that the people of the Thirteen Colonies declared their independence from the Great Kingdom of Britain.
The people of the Thriteen Colonies were enveloped in the American Revolution during the last half of the 18th century.
“Claiming the rule of George III of Great Britain was tyrannical and therefore illegitimate, Congress declared independence as a new nation in July 1776, when Thomas Jefferson wrote and the Congress unanimously approved the United States Declaration of Independence.” – Wikipedia, American Revolution
July the 4th is a day to celebrate and remember when the citizens of the United States stood up and led a revolution, taking back their rights and their freedom from the Great Kingdom of Britain.
In Revolution, the second book in The Seven Uniters Series, Hailey ends up on the hot desert planet of Helio. She then learns of the terrible tyrant who rules the planet, forcing the people to live their lives in fear.
In Revolution, Hailey meets with The Resistance and begins to form a plan. She was sent to Helio for a reason, and she is certain it is to free them from the slavery they have lived in for over 50 years.
The government, though, is not at all happy at Hailey’s arrival, and needs to take action in order to stop her. Will Hailey be able to free the people of Helio from tyranny? And at what cost?
Revolution will be available for Kindle on the 4th of July. I chose the date because of it’s relevance to the story. Just as the people of the Thirteen Colonies led their Revolution in 1776, Hailey must lead hers now.
Also, in celebration of Revolution’s release, Reincarnation, the first book, will be free on the 4th of July!
